I also received the same flyer. Perhaps Mr. Barnett failed to understand or read the flyer correctly? Nowhere did I read that anyone was opposing the installation of a tower.

In fact, several times throughout the flyer the location of this site seems to be the bone of contention.

Mr. Barnett doesn't seem to realize that by building a 230-foot tower with buildings, antennae, etc. next door to my backyard, which by the way is on half an acre, is absolutely ridiculous. Why then would other municipalities and cities have protocols or bylaws to stop this sort of thing?

I'm glad to see that Essa Township took the high road here and considered the impact of having cell phone towers in one's backyard totally unacceptable.

It would seem to me a disservice to any resident to have their township planning office and council (who we depend on for acceptable zoning requirements and to understand our concerns) burden residents with such a proposal.

I am fully aware that I live in the 21st century, and I certainly keep my cell phone on me at all times. Personally, I have no trouble receiving or making calls from my home location but since Mr. Barnett seems to, then maybe he would like to offer up his backyard as the proposed Bell tower site, and I will do anything possible that I can to help Bell get this approved.
